This type of clamping coupling does not damage the shafts. It offers very easy connection and disconnection. They are useful in reducing angular and axial misalignment.
Avoid using elastomeric couplings in environments subject to high temperatures or UV light, as operating in these environments will significantly reduce the coupling's lifespan.
